Abstract

921,712. Combined ladders and stools. W. ZARGES. July 17, 1959 [Aug. 6, 1958], No. 24694/59. Class 20 (2). [Also in Group XIV] In a ladder comprising a tubular frame 1 the top step is composed of a fixed part 11 to which is hinged, by a flexible strip 24, a part 12 which can be folded on to the part 11 to form a seat. The tubular frame comprises two parallel U-shaped members 1 connected together and cross-braced by tubes 3 on which rest steps 9, 10. The parts 11, 12 comprise frames 18 holding a wooden board 15, a seat cover 21 and, in the case of the part 12, a tread 23.
