Abstract

920,379. Filters. PREROVSKE STROJIRNY. NARODNI PODNIK. March 14, 1961 [March 22, 1960], No. 9210/61. Class 46. Each plate 2 is provided at each side with a thrust lug 3 and also at each side with a gripping lug 4. On each side of the press a gripper 5 is slidable along a bar 21, each gripper having pivotally mounted on it a snap 6 provided with a downwardly projecting tooth 6a and an upwardly projecting thrust portion 6b. The grippers 5 are secured to endless chains 13 which are reciprocated by hydraulic rams through rack-and pinion gearing (not shown). A closing plate (not shown) to the right is actuatable by a separate hydraulic ram. On each movement to the right of the grippers, one plate 2 is drawn along.
