917,188. Bed lifts. TULLIS, J. K. Nov. 14, 1961 [Feb. 24, 1961], No. 6875/61. Class 52 (2). [Also in Group XXX] A bed elevating device is detachably secured to either or both ends of a bed and comprises a tubular metal frame 1, a floor bearing pad 2 attached to a ram rod slidable in a piston 4 attached to the frame so that the frame and bed can be raised by pumping fluid into the cylinder by a hand-operated pump 8. Alternatively a hand-operated screw jack carried by the frame may raise the bed. Steadying feet 5, resiliently urged downwardly, are provided.
