Abstract

A metal foundation is firstly coated with a varnish comprising an epoxy resin and dicyandiamide as hardener, and secondly heated and immersed in a fluidized bed of an epoxy resin. The first coating may be applied by dipping in a solution of the components in an organic solvent. The metal coated may be copper, iron, steel, zinc, tin, and alloys thereof.
