Abstract

A coating of a thermosetting material on an electrical component is cured by immersion in a bath of heated liquid. The heated liquid may be water, oil, a silicone, molten wax, molten polythene or molten metal. It may form an additional coating on the component. The original coating may also be applied by dipping.
