Abstract

911,948. Bag &c. handles. FRANGES, H. M. Oct. 20, 1959 [Oct. 20, 1958], No. 35577/59. Class 133. A handle grip 10 for fitting to one or more cord loop handles 16 comprises a pliable lower body portion 12 with two upwardly extending side walls 11 which define a groove seating the loop(s) and are provided with slots 13 extending from the side walls upper edge down to the lower portion 12. The grip 10 is preferably injection moulded from wood pulp or a synthetic resinous plastics material. One loop handle e.g. of a carrier bag may be embedded in the lower portion 12, while a central slot 13<SP>1</SP> is larger than the remainder to accommodate a cross-loop of a package. Inwardly-facing lugs 21 of differing shapes are provided at the ends of each side wall 11 to retain the cord loops.
