An extruded tubular lining bonded to a woven textile jacket is made of a polymer blend of nitrile rubber and polyvinyl chloride in relative proportions of from 55/45 to 75/25 parts by weight. The hose may be made by introducing the lining into the jacket, the lining being expanded by air pressure into contact with the jacket and vulcanised and bonded thereto by the application of external heat; alternatively, the lining is vulcanised, and bonded to the jacket by the use of internal steam pressure, Specification 780,593 is referred to.
