905,487. Bowden mechanisms. TECALEMIT Ltd. May 1, 1959 [May 23, 1958], No. 16646/58. Class 80 (3). A Bowden cable 1 is provided with an end fitting 7 having a bore 10 which receives the end of the sheath 2 and a sealing member 13 which has a lip 15 pressing resiliently against the inner cable 5. The sheath 2 and the inner cable 5 may be coated with layers 4, 6 respectively of synthetic plastic such as nylon and the sealing member 13 may be of similar material. Specification 869,238 is referred to.
