[Also in Division E2] A fastener device for attaching an article b to an apertured support a comprises a one-piece moulding of synthetic plastics material or the like having a base 1, stud member 2 projecting from a first face of the base for snapping engagement with the support, and a pair of opposed resilient arms 9, 10 projecting from the opposite face, the arms each being provided with a recess 7 on the opposed inner face such that the recesses together form an article engaging bore and the first face of the base being formed with a dished portion 5 having a flexible peripheral edge adapted to make resilient sealing engagement with the adjacent face of the support a when the fastener is assembled therewith. As shown, the stud member 2 is hollow and includes an integral neck 3 forming a snapengaging flange 4. The article b may be a rod, pipe or cables. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Speciftcation 875,826.
