Abstract

873,304. Supporting cables and conduits. UNITED - CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Oct. 28, 1959 [Oct. 28, 1958], No. 36624/59. Class 36. [Also in Group XXV] A fastening device comprises a band 1 of flexible material for unbracing a cable, a resilient stud 2 on the band for snapping engagement with an aperture 3 in a support panel 4, and a second resilient stud 5 which is held in snapping engagement by one of a number of apertures 6 in the band after the band has been wrapped around the cable. A bore 12 extends into the stud 2 and serves to locate a tool for applying an aperture over stud 5. Apertures 6 have reinforcing guiding walls 7 surrounding them, which also act as cushions for the cable being held.
