Abstract

904,547. Continuous fencing. WOOD BROS. (WARSOP) Ltd. Sept. 28, 1959 [June 26, 1958], No. 20585/58. Class 45. A continuous fence is constructed of prefabricated panels each comprising a top and bottom horizontal rail 12 and 13 and vertical strips 11, arranged so that the edge 14 of one strip overlays the edge 15 of the adjacent strip. One or more intermediate rails 17 may be provided. The panels are secured to fence posts 18 by a pair of guides 20 and are held off the ground by a stop between the guides. The capping 22 may be used to prevent withdrawal of the panel or a further stop may be fitted at the top of the guides. The strips 11 may reach to the upper surface of the top rail 12 and be covered by a capping 25, Fig. 4, or may stop short and be covered by a capping 16, Fig. 3.
