Abstract

1,131,914. Tents or awnings. L. STROMEYER & CO. G.m.b.H. 2 March, 1966 [2 March, 1965], No. 9118/66. Heading E1A. A tent or awning is supported on four posts 1 erected at the corners of a rectangle, the covering being attached to the tops of the posts, and also at a lower point on each post (the bottom as shown) or a point near the bottom of each post. The covering may be reinforced along the arched edges 6 formed between the posts, and from the centre Z to the mid-points 7 of the edges 6 and to the upper support points 4. The portions of covering between the upper and lower support points may also be reinforced. Wall panels 8 may be added, the plane of said panels 'being inclined inwardly from the vertical, or when several tents are erected, connecting portions may be fitted between adjacent arched edges.
