Abstract

903,017. Springs. CRASSO'S KONINKLIJKE MASCHINEFABRIEKEN N.V. July 22, 1960 [Aug. 22, 1959], No. 25666/60. Class 108(3). A set of annular undulated springs of different diameters (single spring shown Fig. 1) suitable for concentric arrangement with annular valve rings in an air compressor, have the same width and thickness and have undulations of the same length and height. The numbers of undulations thereby increase in arithmetic progression with the diameters of the springs so that the spring load per unit area is constant for each valve ring. Concentrically arranged valve rings will all therefore lift simultaneously.
