Abstract

902,736. Surgical injection containers. SCHENKER, R. July 22, 1960 [July 23, 1959], No. 25567/60. Class 81 (2). [Also in Group XVII] A collapsible tube 1 of synthetic plastics material which may be used for medical purposes has a substantially rigid nozzle 4 integral with the tube, the two parts being joined by fusion when the nozzle material is molten. A portion 3 of the nozzle serves as a gripping member so preventing the tube from deforming when the nozzle is inserted into a cavity. The end 5 of the tube is closed either by a separate base or by welding. A plastics cap 6 has projections 8 which engage an annular recess 7 in the nozzle.
