900,296. Folding-beds; tables. HALL, W. J. Oct. 21, 1958 [March 20, 1958], No. 9033/58. Classes 52 (2) and 52 (3). The centre section 1 of a bed frame folding into U-formation is mounted on a floor frame 13 by links which lower the section as the bed is folded. Springs or a pedal-operated lever 17 assist unfolding and the links 18, 19 at their upper ends are pivoted at 21 on the ends of the outer frame sections 2, 3 which project beyond their pivots 4 providing a toggle action to hold the links in erected position. Automatically folding legs 30 and a head-board usable as a table are provided.
