Abstract
900,052. Stays. CRADDOCK & SONS Ltd., REUBEN. April 24, 1961 [May 9, 1960], No. 16255/60. Class 65 (1). A casement stay comprises an arm 7 pivotally mounted at one end on a pin 9 between the jaws 6 of a bracket 3 adapted to be secured to the window, the hole 10 in the arm through which the pin passes being tapered longitudinally of the arm so that at one face of the arm it is circular and at the other it is elongated, and the one face of the arm being chamfered at 11 whilst the other face is reduced at 12 at the opposite side of the hole to provide a clearance to permit the arm to pivot in planes including the axis of the pin. A nylon sleeve 9a is disposed around the pin.
