A box or lid formed from a paperboard blank having flaps 2, 3 connected to, and adapted to fold up from, a central portion 1 to form a tray-like container held erect by an extension on each flap 2 being doubled over to enclose extensions 6 on the flaps 3, comprises shoulders 9 formed by a panel 8 secured to the inner face of the portion 1 to extend substantially thereover and against which, when the box is in use, margins 10 of the flaps butt to hold the box erect. The inside of the box may be foil-coated.
