Class 137 A ventilator, comprising vertically disposed side frames defining louvre controlled ventilation passages in two or more adjoining sides includes an S-shaped louvre 1 mounted to rotate about horizontal pivots 2 and arranged so that the ventilation openings are completely weathered in its open position and an effective opening exists in its closed position. Two such ventilation openings extend at right angles to each other and the louvres are connected by a flexible drive 10 to operate simultaneously. Several louvres which operate simultaneously may be arranged to close one ventilation opening. Specification 744,732 is referred to.
