Abstract
898,384. Fish-landing nooses. HEY, J. M. March 15, 1961 [March 18, 1960], No. 9574/60. Class 48. An angler's tailer comprises a springy strandedwire cable 10 extending from the end of a tubular shaft 1 and connected at its outer end by a cord or wire cable 11 to a ring 12 slidable on the shaft. The spring wire 10 is retained in an arched position by a spring-loaded pivoted latch 7 projecting through a slot in the shaft to engage the ring. A pivoted trigger 5 connected to the latch by a rod or wire 6 is depressed to retract the latch. The shaft 1 is provided with a handle 2, a D-ring 13 for a strap and may also be provided with a loop for slipping over the wrist of a user.
