890,850. Container closures. WESTWOOD RIM & PATENTS Ltd. Aug. 17, 1960 [Aug. 28, 1959], No. 29416/59. Class 125(3). A closure for vehicle fuel containers has a sprung blade 7 on its underside, each end 7a of the blade being inclined to the plane of the central part of the blade and having a pair of notches for engagement with pegs 8 on the container neck. The peg 8 seats in the lower notch initially to secure the closure to the container, further angular movement of the closure causing the peg to move into the upper notch and secure the closure more firmly on the container.
