879,410. Shovelling machines. YALE & TOWNE MANUFACTURING CO. May 23, 1960 [July 22, 1959], No. 18063/60. Class 68(1). The superstructure 13, 14 of a self propelled shovelling machine is so arranged as to form a central, forwardly opening well 25 in which is pivotally mounted a scoop-carrying boom 28. This boom is of cranked configuration, is pivoted to the superstructure at the upper rear part of the well, and is swung vertically by a jack housed within the well.
