Classes 100(1) and 100(2) A forme for the simultaneous printing and punching out, creasing or scoring of a blank by the use of printing elements movable in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the blank being printed in relation to a base 1 carrying one or more punching, creasing or scoring members 5, comprises printing elements 4 placed on a block 3 of resilient material, between which block and the base 1 an intermediate layer 2 of soft, resilient and easily worked material is mounted. The block 3 may be made from a resilient plastic, the layer 2 from rubber and the base 1 from wood. In use the elements 4 are inked and then pressed against the blank to be printed; as printing pressure is increased the layer 2 is compressed until the memebrs 5 contact the blank and cut, crease or score it. The invention is applicable to platen, cylinder or rotary machines.
