Abstract

A fluid grease comprises a mixture of a mineral oil of V.I from 20 to 40, another mineral oil of V.I. from 55 to 80, an alkaline earth metal salt of a C1 to C3 fatty acid and an alkaline earth metal salt of a fatty acid having at least 8 carbon atoms in the molecule. In an example, glacial acetic acid, coconut fatty acids, hydrated lime, and phenyl-a -naphthylamine were added to an oil of V.I. 33 and the resultant mixture diluted with an oil of V.I. 66.
