Abstract

A composition suitable for treating rubber-bearing Hevea for stimulation of yield and/or bark renewal and not capable of forming stable dispersions in aqueous media comprises a lower alkyl ester of 2, 4, 5-trichlorophenoxy-acetic acid in which the alkyl group contains up to five carbon atoms dissolved in vegetable oil or a mixture of vegetable oil and palm oil sludge or a mixture of vegetable oil and mineral grease. Specified active ingredients are the sodium salt and normal butyl ester of the 2, 4, 5-trichlorophenoxy-acetic acid.ALSO:A composition suitable for treating rubber-bearing Hevea for stimulation of yield and/or bark renewal and not capable of forming stable dispersions in aqueous media comprises a lower alkyl ester of 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxy-acetic acid, in which the alkyl group contains up to five carbon atoms, dissolved in vegetable oil or a mixture of vegetable oil and palm oil sludge or a mixture of vegetable oil and mineral grease. Specified active ingredients are the sodium salt and normal butyl ester of the 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid.
