Abstract

An anti-corrosion oil comprises a mineral lubricating oil, a cyclohexylamine salt of a C8-C24 fatty acid (preferably oleic acid) and ricinoleic acid, the amount of ricinoleic acid being 0.1 to 10 parts by weight based on the cyclohexylamine salt, and preferably 0.5 to 3 parts by weight. In examples, a mineral oil of viscosity 55 S.U.S/210 DEG F. and specific gravity ( 60/60 ) 0.939 contains 1% ricinoleic acid and 0.5 and 3% respectively of cyclohexylamine oleate.
