A device for moving a pallet 1 has a wheeled frame provided with an upper plate 21 on which is rotatably mounted a plate 45 carrying bars 51 and lugs 52, 53 to engage the underside of the pallet. Transverse location of the plates 21 and 45 is ensured by the pin 46 secured to the plate 45 rotating in the sleeve 44 carried by the plate 21. The propelling handle is pivotally mounted at 37 and may be held in any adjusted position.
