769,795. Lift trucks; portable apparatus for tipping containers. STOLBERGER MASCHINEN-UND APPARATEBAU GES. Aug. 6, 1954, No. 22978/54. Classes 78 (3) and 78 (4). A truck for transporting and tipping tubs 10 comprises a two-wheel tractor 13 pivoted at 16, 17 to a wheeled fork member 14 provided with a pair of spaced linkage 19, 20, 21, 22 which, when extended by hydraulic thrusters 23, first engage lips 11 on the tub and raise it to a transport position in which links 21 abut members 24 secured to the fork, and then, on further extension of the thrusters, move the tub to the discharge position shown in Fig. 3. Fingers 20a on links 20 engage a projection 12 on the tub during raising of the linkages and so secure the tub thereto.
