875,599. Shower baths. TAPPER, H. May 27, 1959, No. 18125/59. Class 26. In a shower installation combined with a hot water plant, the whole installation is so mounted on a vehicle that a device to draw and supply water from a source comprising a water suction pump 18 is removably-secured to the vehicle, on which an oil-heated boiler 9, a heat-exchange installation 14, 15 to cool water to shower temperature and a removable portable shower installation are also mounted. The vehicle may be a self-propelled motor vehicle or a trailer which may have a single axle and retractable legs 4, 5, see Fig. 1, (not shown). The said device may consist of a petrol driving engine 16, a current generator 17 and a portable water suction pump 18, removably-secured to the vehicle. The hotwater plant may be enclosed in a casing (with suitable openings), the removable members thereof being on a supporting frame 19. The boiler 9 is preferably combined with a sterilizing plant and heated by an unit 10 of oil burners, adjustable independently to give varying conditions, and controlled by a panel 20 connected to the generator. A number of shower heads may be carried on a self-supportting tubular frame, collapsible for detachable accommodation on the vehicle. The operating water pressure at the pump 18 may be regulated by an adjustable valve, a remote indicating device thereat indicating the boiler water pressure. The installation may be used to supply hot water.
