[Also in Group XL(a)] A resilient support and spacing member for a two-limbed discharge tube 1, 2 in a cylindrical envelope 4, is provided in two parts 12, 13 .... 21 and 12<SP>1</SP>, 13<SP>1</SP> .... 21<SP>1</SP> spot-welded together at 10, 11 as shown in the Figure. The spring may be of chromium-nickel strip of 0.3 x 5 mms. cross-section, the projections 16-27-17, and 16<SP>1</SP>-27<SP>1</SP>-17<SP>1</SP> being optional.
