859,674. Seats; frames. LOFFLER, G. Oct. 1, 1958 [Oct. 11, 1957], No. 31291/58. Classes 52(2), 52(3) and 52(4) A resilient surface of elastic cords or sheeting is mounted in a rigid or elastic frame disposed at an oblique angle and mounted on legs individually adjustable for height, the surface 3 sagging under load to form the seat and back rest. As shown in Fig. 1 the legs 2 are rotatable on a rigid frame 1 so that increase of splay effects an adjustment in height and the legs can fold against the frame for storage. In a modification, Fig. 7, U-shaped tubular telescopic legs 15 are pivoted at 16 for folding and carry a resilient mesh with an elastic frame 14.
