Abstract

925,264. Adjustable chairs. HOME-EASE Ltd. March 2, 1962 [March 2, 1961], No. 7623/61. Class 52 (2). A folding chair comprises a seat frame 15 and a back frame 10 pivoted together at 22 (Fig. 1) and having a pair of arm-rests 28 which incorporate means for adjusting the angle between the frames. Each arm-rest is pivotally connected to the frame 15 at 34 and adjustably connected to the frame 10 by means of a projection 37 on the frame 10 engaging in any one of a number of notches 36 forming part of a closed slot 35. The fabric seat surface 13 is stitched at one end around an upper cross-bar 11 of the frame 10 and at the other end has a pair of pockets 42 which receive the ends 27 of the seat frame 15.
