Description
Armchair The present invention relates to an armchair which is characterized by an elastic sheet and by means for maintaining this sheet, deformable under the weight of the user, in an inclined and taut position.
The appended drawing represents to by way of example two embodiments of the chair, object of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows, in elevation, the chair, according to the first embodiment.
Fig. 2 is the left view.
Fig. 3 represents in elevation-section the upper part of a foot and its locking mode. Fig. 4 is the right view of FIG. 3.
Fig. 5 is a vertical section - taken along line a-a of fig. 3.
Fig. 6 shows in isolation and in perspective, the locking device of the legs.
The fïg. 7 is a perspective view of the second embodiment.
The armchair according to the first embodiment is constituted by a rigid tubular frame 1, of round shape, supported obliquely by folding and adjustable feet & 2, on which are stretched with elastic elements 3, such as e bungee cords , or a sheet of rubber or the like, deformable under the weight of the user to form the seat and backrest.
The feet 2, of three in the example chosen (two small at the front and a large at the rear), are each articulated by a collar 4 on the frame 1, to ensure the adjustment of the inclination or the height, and on which they are immobilized in rotation in predetermined positions, by means of a bolt 5 to stud 5 ' able to penetrate, under the action of a spring 7, </ B > in 6, radial holes made at the periphery of said frame 1.
Each collar 4, open laterally at 8, is secured to a foot 2 by a rivet 9, and internally includes the lock 5 whose ridged 10 ends protrude and are guided in the lateral openings 8 to allow the user manual operation , of said, lock when he wishes to change the inclination or the height of his chair.
In addition, the lower face of each lock 5 has two lugs 11, allowing it to be centered on the spring 7. </ B >
After use, if you want to store or transport the wheelchair, the legs 2 can be folded towards the inside of the frame 1 to provide a minimum of space and they are immobilized in. this poâtion. by the penetration of the stud 5 ', of each lock 5, into a hole 12 of the frame 1.
The chair according to the second mode of Téalisation, consists of elastic cords 13, stretched over a flexible or also elastic frame 14, supported by a rigid folding base made up of < B> of two tubes 15, curved. in. shape of U, overlapping and articulated in 16 by their middle.
The vertical parts of the base are telescopic to allow adjustment of the inclination and height of the chair.
In one variant, chairs are provided, the paotie of which constituting the seat is supported by non-adjustable and non-folding feet.
