Abstract

852,220. Juice extractors. JURO ELECTRO APPARATUS WORKS L. HENZIROHS Ltd. June 22, 1959 [June 26, 1958], No. 21327/59. Class 28(2) The teeth of a rotated disc tear off and throw out particles of vegetables &c., against a rotated flared screen 47, 48 through which the juice passes to a spout 43 while the pulp climbs up on the screen and passes out at a spout 43a. The cutting disc is spaced from the screen bottom and carries an upper spaced ring disc providing pulp passageways 55, 56 and 62, 63 which are proportioned to allow the particles to hit the screen and then drive the particles up the screen by the succeeding particles. The hopper 43b is provided with an adjustable stop 44 to prevent rotation of the vegetables.
