Abstract
850,117. Photographic lenses. ZEISS JENA VEB., C. March 28, 1958, No. 10139/58. Class 97(1) A photographic lens consisting of 6 elements as shown, in which the power of the cemented surfaces of the dispersive menisci are convergent, the refractive indices of the two dispersive elements next to the diaphragm are at most 1À65 and the refractive index of the rear element of each of the two dispersive menisci is greater than that of the element cemented to it. Also (r3-r8) <0À02f (f=focal length of lens). The four convergent elements are of the same glass having refractive index between 1À65 and 1À70. The difference between the refractive index of the rear element and that of the front element of the rear dispersive meniscus is between 0À06 and 0À10. Optical data are given for one example.
