847,503. Draught excluders. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Dec. 5, 1956 [Dec. 5, 1955], No. 37192/56. Class 20(3) [Also in Group XIII] A refrigerator cabinet having adjacent closure members, e.g. drawers 10, has tubular gaskets 15 mounted in recesses on adjacent edges of the drawers and which are deformed on closing the drawers to form a seal. Each gasket is fixed to a member 27 mounted by a plurality of spring biased studs 31 on the rear wall of the recess. The members 27 extend laterally of the drawers and overlie the sides of the cabinets. On closing the drawers the members 27 abut the sides of the cabinet and are forced outwardly deforming the gaskets into sealing engagement. The gaskets are preferably those described in Specification 792,440.
