In a refrigerator formed of evacuated panels 2, 3 as described in Specificatiin 715,174, an arrangement for securing a gasket 17 around the access opening comprises an L- shaped trim strip 8 secured by screws 16 to brackets 15, with the shorter limb 11 abutting the inner wall 3 and with the longer limb 10 formed with a groove 13 which embraces the tail 18 of the gasket and inturned flanges 6, 7 of the outer and inner walls 2, 3. Fig. 2 shows the trim strip used at the sides and bottom of the opening, and Fig. 3 shows the trim strip for the top, the latter having a depending part 19 formed with flanged apertures to receive controls, cabinet lights and a butter conditioner 20.
