Abstract

850,555. Refrigerators. A.E.I.-HOTPOINT Ltd. May 5, 1959 [May 19, 1958], No. 16027/58. Class 29 In a refrigerator cabinet having inwardly directed flanges 7, Fig. 1, defining a door opening, the inner liner 6 has an outwardly directed flange 8 engaging channels 9, Fig. 2, formed behind the flanges 7. The flange 8 along the right hand side of the inner liner 6 is first entered into its channel 9 so that projections 13 in the channel 9 engage corresponding notches 14 in the flange 8. The left hand side of the inner liner 6 may now be inserted into the door opening until the shoulder 12 is abutted and the liner 6 moved to the left so that the projections 13 and notches 14 are disengaged whereupon the liner 6 is moved upwardly. A fillet 15 may now be screwed to the cabinet so that a rearwardly extending projection on the fillet engages between the liner 6 and the cabinet to hold the liner in position.
