Class 137 A portable heating or air conditioning system comprises a flexible pipe of polythene or other flexible, synthetic, rubber-like, or elastic material connected at one end to an air heater having a fan and closed at the other end, a plurality of holes being disposed at intervals along its length. The holes may be punched while the pipe is flat and may be closer together at the end remote from the heater. The air pressure generated by the fan should be at least sufficient to maintain the pipe in the inflated state. It is stated that the invention is particularly applicable to the heating and ventilating of portable greenhouses.
