846,092. Nursery chairs. TICKNER, A. (Sebel, H.). March 12, 1957 [March 12, 1956], No. 7735/56. Class 52(2) A folding high chair has front legs 2 formed by the legs of an inverted U-shaped member 1 of which the closed end forms a back rest support, rear legs 8 pivoted at their upper ends to a U-shaped member 4 which is pivoted to the member 1 at 5, and extends forwardly to form arms 6, and a further U-shaped member 10 pivoted at 14 to frame 1 and at 15 to legs 8 and carrying a foot rest 13, the arrangement allowing the legs to lie lengthwise adjacent one another in the folded position. The seat 21 of the chair is supported from arms 6 by canvas or other material 22 and a pocket 24 fits over member 1. A tray or table 19 is supported on pivoted arms 18 and a releasable spring-loaded plunger 16 locks together members 4, 10 in the erect position.
