Abstract

873,752. Cots. ROBB, E. G. March 25, 1958 [March 25, 1957], No. 9768/57. Classes 52(2) and 52(3). A folding cot consists of a well-shaped base having a bottom 1 and side walls 2, front and rear walls 3, 4 which are hinged to the base and fold down into it lying in superposed relation, and solid end walls 7, 8 hinged to the ends of the base and folding down to form covers therefor. The covers may be retained by clasps 9. The undersurface of the bottom 1 has recesses to receive folding legs 13, 14 held erect by stays 15. Front wall 3 may be made in two parts hinged at 6 to form a drop-side. There is provided a carrying handle 17 which may be the handle of a drawer in the base.
