837,004. Liquid-blast switches. REYROLLE & CO. Ltd., A. July 27, 1956, No. 23335/56. Addition to 756,074. Class 38 (5). In a high voltage fluidblast switch a portion 22 of the conductor 20 leading to the fixed contact 12 extends past an arc control device 13 substantially from end to end to form a current loop for producing a magnetic field tending to deflect the arc into the vents 26 of the device 13, the portion 22 being embedded within the wall of an insulating moulded tank 11 of cast resin, e.g. of the ethoxyline group.
