Abstract

A method of treating heavy crops of mown grass, lying on the ground in the form of swaths produced by a mower, comprises operating upon the swaths with a haymaking machine of the oblique rake-wheel type in such a way that the swaths, in being turned, are divided to form a greater number thereof, in order to facilitate drying. The subject-matter disclosed is identical with that of Specification 835,115. Specification 835,116 also is referred to.
