[Also in Group XXXIV] A warning device is adapted for connection to at least two individual fluid pressure systems and is responsive to a drop in pressure below a predetermined value in either or any of the systems to actuate, regardless of the pressure prevailing in the other system or systems, a common arm 21 to a warning position. Fluid under pressure in chamber 11 acts upon the piston 13 to cause the compression of spring 19 and the movement of piston-rod 14 to the right, allowing the rotation of crank-shaft 22 and pin 27a under the action of a spiral spring (not shown) to rotate arm 21 anticlockwise. If the pressure in chamber 11 falls below the desired level, piston 13 and rod 14 move to the left under the action of spring 19, and arm 21 is raised to the warning position shown. A second identical piston and rod is arranged parallel to or in axial alignment with the one shown in order to give a warning for a completely independent system. The arm 21 may actuate electrical contacts of an electrical warning device.
