Abstract

826,598. Fluid actuation of switches; switch cases. PARMATIC ENGINEERING Ltd. April 14, 1958 [April 15, 1957], No. 11826/58. Class 38 (5). A switch 15 which is operable by a pressure-sensitive device is mounted in a casing 12 upon which is sealed a socket 22 containing pins 19. The casing 12 is also sealed to a plate 10 to which is sealed one end of a bellows 39, connected at its other end to an arm 36 pivoted at 32 outside the casing and between the ends of the bellows. The arm 36 is acted on by an adjustable spring 46 and by the stem 45 of a piston 57a acted on on opposite sides by different pressures, and the arm 36 carries an arm 41 with an adjustable screw 70 which bears on the switch actuating member 17.
