Abstract
1531265 Pressure sensors DANFOSS AS 5 Nov 1975 [6 Nov 1974] 45894/75 Heading G1L A fluid-pressure control device which operates a micro-switch 18 when the pressure in boiler 2 falls sufficiently, includes a sealed chamber defined by two hollow resilient members 11, 19 the effective area D 1 of the member 11 being greater than that D 2 of the chamber, the pressure in the chamber being below ambient whereby a leak in either member also causes the device to operate the micro-switch. When either the boiler pressure falls or a leak occurs the force on the spring 16 decreases and the arm 15 is pushed down to turn the switch 18 off. However, if a leak occurs when the boiler pressure is too high, the spring will not be able to move the arm against the pressure. In this case a second device 4 is used to open a second switch 38 when excess pressure occurs. This device also includes a protective bellows 31 outside bellows 27. A leak in either bellows also causes the switch 38 to be opened unless boiler pressure is too low; however this is detected by the first device.
