Class 87(1) In a roofing tile having one or more hood-like louvres 12 each disposed over an opening 14 in the tile, the height of the edge of the louvre above the opening is not greater than 3“ mm. The opposite edge of the opening has an inclined ridge 13. In a sheet iron or aluminium tile, the louvre and ridge are formed by slitting the sheet and pressing out the material on opposite sides of the slit. Alternatively the tile may be made of clay, cement or plastics. The louvres may be provided on a flat tile or on the crests of corrugations of a pantile or corrugated sheet.
