834,136. Bobbins. DECCA RECORD CO. Ltd. Feb. 13, 1958 [Feb. 13, 1957], No. 4923/57. Class 120(3) [Also in Groups XVI and XX] A spool for holding a length of tape comprises a drum 10 with radially extending flanges 11 on either side thereof wherein a clip 16 is provided for securing the end of the tape to the drum, the clip having a manual operating member 17 external of one flange 11. The clip 16 is mounted on a pivot 15 substantially tangential to the surface of the drum, a helical spring being provided on the pin to urge the clip 16 into engagement with the drum.
