[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Feb. 11, 1948.] [Class 120(iii)] A roving spool comprising a longitudinal barrel 28, heads 2 with guides 4 on the inner sides thereof for entering the ends of the barrel, and a spring 32 within the barrel arranged to hold yieldingly said heads 2 against opposite ends of the barrel, is characterized by each head 2 having fast thereon a trunnion 29 having a journal portion 30 extending outside the barrel and a portion 31 extending into the barrel and releasably engaging an end of the spring 32.
