Abstract
An inhalation anaesthetic comprises a constant boiling mixture of about 40 mol. per cent diethyl ether and 60 mol. per cent trifluoromethylbromochloromethane. It may be prepared by mixing the components in the correct proportions or by the distillation of a mixture of the components containing at least 40 mol. per cent diethyl ether. The composition is stated to be non-inflammable.
