Abstract
A fumigant composition comprises a mixture of carbon tetrachloride and carbon disulphide as a major toxic ingredient preferably in an amount from 70 to 90 per cent by weight of the former and 10 to 30 per cent by weight of the latter, and in solution therein a flash suppressant amount of methyl bromide preferably in an amount of from 0.25 to 4 per cent by weight or ethyl bromide preferably in an amount from 1 to 4 per cent by weight.
